I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been pretty much holed up around the house this last week but it totally slipped my mind about bonfire night until the evening there of.
I hadn’t seen any flyer for local events nor the usual organised celebration up the street at the pub and very little on TV.
Interesting that one article questioned if fireworks were now the domain of various ethnic festivals and new year events rather than bonfire night.
Mind you last night it was like a war was being fought, an old fashioned one not the mess the US and UK find themselves in atm and I guess Saturday night will be even louder.
