Don’t usually comment but I really have to say that I enjoyed your explanation of Byron hatred. I don’t feel that way about Byron but I do about Bester – I hate that he is on the show and I would leave the room most of his scenes when I first watched the show. I understand it a little more – Thanks!

Thanks for adding your input. Bester is the character I love to hate but at least I can understand where he is coming from. Koenig made Bester into a powerful character.
BTW it’s always good to hear from the diggers!

I can understand the Byron hate. I found hm to be a prissy little brat, and I blamed Lyta’s personality change partially on his influence. However, his covert secret collecting was a GOOD idea. It was handled extremely poorly by him, though. He used is people like a blunt club, when he needed to use them as a scalpel. Were I in his place, I would have asked for a homeworld, and if they denied me, I would have used the information he claimed to have gathered on an item-by-item basis, causing instabilities and strife that would result in a planet becoming available for telepath settlement.
