I'm Paul. I live in central North Carolina. I've been listening to the show since 2005. Now I've finally decided I need to get involved with the community here.

Most of the time I'm several months behind the latest tv shows and movies, since I don't have cable and I don't like crowded, overpriced movie theaters. Netflix is where I get most stuff. Now with Hulu and Netflix's streaming stuff, I'm not quite so far behind on some things.

I read a lot of comics. These are the monthlies (or semi-monthlies) on my sub list at the local comic shop, although I also read a fair number of trades and OGNs: American Vampire, Atomic Robo, Birds of prey, Doom Patrol, Fables, Godland, Hack Slash, Hellboy, I Zombie, Northlanders, Orc Stain, REBELS, Royal Historian of Oz, Secret Six, Sixth Gun, Sweet Tooth, Usagi Yojimbo, Zatanna.

My novel-reading is more sporadic. I'll often pick up something old from the used book store, so I'm not familiar with many contemporary books or authors. I also like to read history, so I don't read as much sci-fi as some fans. Currently I'm reading a novel called Echo City by Tim Lebbon, and I recently started the Fate of the Jedi series.

What other geeky crap do I do...? I play D&D, or some other tabletop rpg, usually once a week. I like some other geeky games like Munchkin. I also like professional wrestling, mainly promotions like ROH, Chikara, and Shimmer. I grew up in NE Arkansas, not far from Memphis, so we watched Jerry Lawler and all those wildmen on Saturday afternoons. I also try to keep up with current events, to some degree, but it's too often a downer, and it's hard to find news outlets that give you good reliable information.
