Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming
Before Ronald D Moore’s recent remake of Battlestar Galactica a group of people led by original series actor Richard Hatch produced a trailer called Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming, it’s purpose was to ( hopefully ) create interest in reviving the 70’s science fiction series and continuing the adventures of the Galactica crew.
Only network executives and fans attending some American science fiction conventions ever got to see the trailer, as a fan of the original version of Battlestar Galactica this was massively frustrating, some stills from it were printed in various science fiction magazines and it did look interesting.
I given up on ever seeing the trailer until a couple of years ago when I found a copy of it online that was filmed by someone with a video camera and to be honest it was hard to tell what was going on for most of it.
Today while messing around online I found a watchable quality copy so I thought I’d share it here for anyone who might be interested.

He’s always very passionate and enthusiastic when he talks about the original show in interviews, it would have be interesting to see a sequel to the show based on his ideas
